Busy Bee’s
Busy Bees, Parent, Baby & Toddler Group: Are you a new mum or dad, parent, grandparent, childminder? Why not join this group. They meet on Friday mornings from 10am to 12 noon. Come along and bring your busy bees for some fun! Cost €3 per family. Contact Úna for more information.

Junior Youth Club
Our Junior Youth Club is for children aged 7 to 12 years. The club meets on Thursdays from 3:15pm to 4:30pm and the weekly fee is €2 per child. Registration fee is €20 per child. Family discounts are available. Contact Pauline for more information.

Senior Youth Club
Club Óige Mhíobhaigh provides a social gathering/facility for young people in the Mevagh area between the ages of 12 and 15 years. It is held on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9pm. Registration fee is €20 per child with a weekly fee of €2. Contact Úna for more information.

Women’s Group
The Mevagh Women’s Group meet on the 3rd Monday of every month at 8pm in the Centre. Contact Úna for more information.

Mevagh Men’s Group
The Men’s group meet on the second Tuesday of each month in the Centre from 8pm to 10pm. New members always welcome. Contact Úna if you would like to join the group.

Mevagh Carers Group
The Carers Group meet on the second Tuesday of each month. All Carers, both registered and non-registered are welcome to attend. For more information contact Pauline at the Centre.
07.
Community Gardening Group
The community garden is open to the community. Membership of the gardening group takes place in February. Membership for new members is €60 for the season. This entitles individuals to a raised bed in the polytunnel a raised bed outside and three drills. There is tuition from a Community Gardener for a number of weeks at the beginning of the growing season. Contact Pauline for more information.

Craft Group
Meet weekly and share skills such as knitting, crochet, cross stitch, sewing and quilting. Members freely share ideas, swap patterns and help one another along. The group meet every Thursday morning from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the centre. Cost €3 per session. Contact Pauline for more information.

Additional Needs Support Group
Support Group for parents/carers who are raising a child with additional needs. Contact Úna for more information.

Mevagh Book Club
The group meet on the second Monday of each month at 11.30 am in the Centre. New readers always welcome.
11.
Breast Feeding Support
This group, for Mum’s and new babies, and facilitated by the Public Health Nurse runs on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. The next meeting will take place on Wednesday 17th April from 11am to 12:30pm in Mevagh FRC. Call in for a cuppa and a chat. No booking necessary.

Become a volunteer
The work that our volunteers do is invaluable to the centre. Volunteers help in all aspects of our service which includes working with children, youth, fundraising and of course our Board of Management.
